Kounlana products include several collections of velvet, cotton or linen cushions. These products are made and manufactured in Paris , France. We have chosen to work with eco-responsible materials and in an ethical context. We use traditional African loincloths such as the Bogolan printed Wax, the traditional Bogolan in cotton or the Faso Dan Fani in cotton also produced using artisanal techniques in Mali and Burkina Faso. Our Madras fabrics come from Martinique. Our plain velvet, linen or cotton fabrics are entirely sourced in Europe and are certified by the OEKO-TEX label .

Kounlana is a word in Dioula, a dialect mainly spoken in Burkina Faso and Mali. This word means "the head resting". It is symbolically at home, in your cocoon, that you can visualize the brand's products. At home, where our mind wanders to the lands where it can rest.
